Independent Living offers room, board and other amenities for a monthly fee but does not provide personal care or medical services to residents. For those that do not need assistance with daily tasks but would like the safety & security of living in a community such as this.
Assisted Living offers room, board, meals, assistance with activities of daily living (such as bathing/dressing/grooming/etc.), mobility assistance and medication management but no medical services to residents.
Memory Care is for those dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s or dementia with a higher level of security and assistance than other care options. Memory Care facility staff are specifically trained to care with these individuals and their family to offer the support they need.
Skilled Nursing provides 24-hour medical care and supervision to those with chronic health conditions or those recuperating from a medical procedure or injury. They provide transitional care between the hospital and home.

Neither Medicare nor Medicaid Options cover the cost of Assisted Living. Medicaid Choices does pay a portion of the cost of services at an assisted care living facility. Choices pays a portion related to the members personal care needs, homemaker services, and taking your medicine. You must pay for your room and board.
